Niklas Moisander is heading to Amsterdam today for a medical before signing a three year deal with the Dutch Champions.
He started his career with TPS and played nine times for them, from May 2003 to June 2003, he was a regular with his home club.
Moisander then moved to Ajax but never actually played any matches for them. He was playing for the reserves for the majority of his three year stay.
In July 2006 he went to Zwolle, and during his time there he made 75 appearances, scoring five times – Moisander was an instrumental player for them. On 1 July 2008, after having impressed AZ, he moved there the following summer. He was made the team captain for the 2011−2012 season.
Now Moisander is ready to rejoin his former club, and Frank de Boer will finally get his man to replace Jan Vertonghen who he has been targeting since last season.
