Ajax after a striker maybe Aron Jóhannsson?

 After signing youngster Danny Hoesen from Fulham.

Ajax have confirmed they are still in the market for a striker.

Aron Jóhannsson name has been mentioned, the 21 year old is from Iceland, who plays as a winger or striker for Danish Superliga side AGF Aarhus.

Following a fine performance in the away match against Viborg FF 16 April 2011 (which AGF won 3-2), Jóhansson was chosen as one of the team’s starting strikers rather than Sanel Kapidzic. He played the remaining games for AGF in the season, helping his team to the promotion to the Superliga.

Aron Jóhannsson got his debut in the Danish Superliga on 18 July 2011 in a 2-1 win against Lyngby BK. After 15 goalless matches, he finally scored his first goal in the Superliga in the away match against Sønderjyske on 7 November 2011, securing a 1-1 result.

His record stands at 37 appearances and scoring 13 goals.
